How wonderful it is when Christians gather to encourage, worship, and equip each other with tools to spread the Gospel. The Equip Conference in Orlando did just that! We were able to share, once again, all that God is doing through our ministry with Latin Americans. It was exciting to meet several talented people and ministries that are willing to partner with us to increase God’s kingdom in the world through Jesus. Our time at Equip was like a spiritual family reunion, renewing old friendships and meeting with a whole new generation of kingdom workers.
Answering questions and sharing how to "listen, watch, and share" our radio programs were Jose and Raquel Castillo and Rex and Brenda Morgan from our booth. Our partnership with World Christian Broadcasting continues to impact Latin Americans. Many people came by and shared their excitement for how far reaching this ministry is today. Some experienced our La Voz Alegre App for the very first time. We are blessed that God has put such an effective tool to share His message in the hand of so many!

We also renewed our friendship with Issac and Maria Rifa. Issac attended our first seminar in Havana, Cuba in 2001. These seminars resulted in the establishment of the Bible Institute in Havana, which has graduated more than 250 preachers in the past 22 years. Issac and Maria now serve the Conestoga Valley Church of Christ in Lancaster, PA. I was blessed to hear Issac share how that first course on the Christian Family continues to impact his marriage, and those who he now teaches.

One of the great advantages of gathering at Equip is that God reveals new ideas, partnership, and excitement for sharing Jesus through media. Three top things we learned and appreciated:
First, Geofencing, the use of GPS or RFID technology to create a virtual geographic boundary, enabling software to trigger a response when a mobile device enters or leaves a particular area.

• Chase Turner, from Herald of Truth ministries, shared how geofencing can be used to promote our Bible teaching App targeting specific neighborhoods.
• Our first trial for using geofencing to reach a Hispanic community will be in Mt. Dora, FL at the Vida Frida Festival. This is a Hispanic festival celebrating art, food, and culture. The Mt. Dora Church of Christ will host a booth at this festival which will promote our La Voz Alegre App and the local church. Our prayer is that souls will be reached.

Second, we had the pleasure of spending time with Ryan Isaiah a talented media creator. He and his wife Janet are both bilingual and have a great love for the Lord and ministry. We plan to spend time and prayer together to discover what God has planned.
Third, we were blessed to spend valuable time with the elders and members of churches that partner with us in Florida. The spiritual and financial partnerships we have make it possible for us to spread the gospel of Jesus through media
